Easter in Istria means one thing for us: the Adriatic spring hits its sweet spot, 16–22°C, warm enough to shed winter layers but cool enough for genuinely great friction. Blooming landscapes, longer days, and none of the summer crowds.
This isn't one crag — it's an entire peninsula. Coastal routes at Rovinj with Adriatic views, the dramatic limestone fjord of Limski Kanal, the hidden canyon of Vela Draga tucked into Učka Nature Park, and the technical inland walls of Buzet. Every day brings different rock and a different challenge.
Two weeks of coaching from Jan Novotny, Klemen Bečan, and Sergi Medina — a genuinely rare concentration of high-level climbing experience for a single retreat — with rest days for medieval hilltop towns, local truffles and olive oil, and Pula's Roman amphitheater.

Basic shared accommodation in local climbing hostels, cottages, campsites, or places run by local climbers. For higher-standard accommodation, send a personal inquiry by email or WhatsApp.
Getting There
Fly into Trieste / Ronchi dei Legionari (Italy) for both arrival and departure — the closest airport to Istria. Local transport is organised once you land.
Gear
All safety equipment provided — ropes, draws, helmets, slings. Bring your own shoes and harness if you have preferences; we've got spares if you don't.
Group Size
Minimum 3 participants to run the retreat — otherwise we offer an equivalent alternative or a full refund.

Common Questions
What level do I need to be?
This retreat suits a wide range, from motivated beginners around 5a to advanced climbers pushing 7c+. Four different climbing areas means there's genuinely something for every level.
Do I need my own gear?
Bring climbing shoes and a harness you trust. We provide belay devices, helmets, and slings, plus a full kit list once you book (down jacket, headlamp, sleeping bag, backpack).
Is food included?
Food arrangements and any included meals are confirmed before departure.
Can I book just one week?
Yes — you can book a single week or the full 2-week option. See the dates above for all options and prices.
What if fewer than 3 people book?
We need a minimum of 3 participants to run the retreat. If numbers don't add up, we'll offer an equivalent (or better) alternative, or a full refund. No hard feelings.
Where do I fly in and out of?
Trieste / Ronchi dei Legionari Airport in Italy, the closest airport to Istria, for both arrival and departure.
