Deep water solo: rock, sea, and the splash
No ropes, no gear. Just rock, sea, and the splash. Our deep water solo trips run on Mallorca's warm limestone sea cliffs — six climbing days (rest day optional), boat access to the cliff lines, and sport-climbing backup crags for rough-sea days. No harness to pinch, no rope to manage — just you, the rock, and the Mediterranean waiting to catch you.

Who We Are
Always first to try new things
At Rockbusters we love all areas and styles of climbing and we’re always first to try new things. We find the people who climb with us usually share the same kind of attitude. That’s exactly why we run our Deep Water Solo tours in Mallorca.
Mallorca offers an incredible amount of epic routes in a relatively small area. It’s become famous for its world class DWS but in recent years loads of hot new crags have been bolted on the island. They’re definitely worth a visit too and makes for a really varied and exciting tour.
We cap every group at eight climbers, with individualized coaching on movement, safety, and mental game.

DEEP BLUE: The Psicobloc Camp
No harness. No rope. Just warm Mediterranean limestone above and impossibly turquoise water below, ready to catch you the moment your fingers inevitably let go. Mallorca isn't just a good spot for deep water soloing — it's basically where the sport went mainstream, home to legendary lines climbed by names like Chris Sharma.

Frequently Asked
Before you book a deep water solo trip
- What level do I need to be?
You should be a confident outdoor climber leading 6a/6b or higher, and just as importantly, a strong and confident swimmer comfortable in open water.
- Do I need my own gear?
Bring the Deep Blue kit: 2+ pairs of climbing shoes, liquid chalk, a dry bag, and snorkeling goggles. We also recommend packing sport-climbing backup gear (harness, helmet, chalk bag, belay device) in case we swap to land-based crags on rough days.
- What if the sea's too rough for DWS?
We switch to Mallorca's excellent, lesser-known sport crags for the day. The island has plenty of world-class climbing beyond the coastline, so a rough sea doesn't mean a wasted day.
- Where do I fly in and out of?
Palma de Mallorca Airport, for both arrival and departure.
