PROJECT ESPAÑA 2027

North of Valencia, Chulilla's towering walls rise above the crystalline Turia River — over 900 routes known for their length, technical vertical faces, and subtle tufa formations. While Sella introduced you to Spanish limestone, Chulilla is where the trip starts demanding more.
Work iconic sectors like El Balcón, La Muela, and El Oasis, applying Week 1's technical foundation to routes running up to 40 metres on a single pitch — exactly the kind of sustained climbing that forces genuinely efficient movement and strategic resting.
Evenings unfold in a medieval village of cobblestone streets beneath a 13th-century castle, with analysis sessions in local cafés and a rest-day option to soak in nearby thermal springs.

The Sella Graduate
You've built the foundation in Week 1, or arrived with solid technique already, and you're ready for routes that actually test your stamina.

What Past Climbers Say
I'd never thought about resting strategically mid-route before Chulilla. A 40-metre pitch has a way of teaching you fast whether you like it or not.
The evening café analysis sessions were oddly one of my favorite parts. Breaking down footage over coffee in a medieval village hits different.
Spent our rest day in the thermal springs after a week of pumped forearms. Genuinely one of the best recovery days I've had on any climbing trip.

FAQ
Common Questions
What level do I need to be?
Previous outdoor sport climbing experience is expected, with a minimum lead grade of indoor 6a or outdoor 5. Suitable for women and men aged 15 and up; physical intensity is medium to high.
Do I need my own gear?
Bring climbing shoes and a harness you trust. We provide belay devices, helmets, and slings, plus a full kit list once you book (down jacket, headlamp, sleeping bag, approach shoes).
Is food included?
Food arrangements and any included meals are confirmed before departure.
Can I join this leg without doing Week 1?
Yes — every leg works as a standalone week. You don't need to have done Sella first, though the technical foundation from Week 1 does help you get more out of Chulilla's longer routes.
What if fewer than 3 people book?
We need a minimum of 3 participants to run this leg. If numbers don't add up, we'll offer an equivalent (or better) alternative, or a full refund. No hard feelings.
Where do I fly in and out of?
Valencia Airport, for both arrival and departure.
