Talk to us about MaltaAdam Ondra opened Ain't Sane in the Membrane (8c) and Fight Club (8b) at Il-Latnija in March 2023 — among the hardest confirmed routes on the islands. Stevie Haston established King of Kings (8b+, 110m) at The Underworld on Gozo. Both are single-source-confirmed but from a reliable approved site (theCrag/UKClimbing) and are not disputed elsewhere.

French 1a–8c+
The widest choice: Ghar Lapsi and Wied Babu for volume, Il-Latnija for the hardest grades (access currently restricted), San Blas and Mġarr ix-Xini on Gozo.
HVS–E3 (named examples)
Victoria Lines is the big trad venue by route count; Wied Babu adds named HVS–E3 lines. No approved source publishes an aggregate trad grade range.
French 5c–7c+
Wied Ħasan is the one formally graded DWS venue on approved sources; check sea conditions and climb with a partner.
