Beta Babes is a week of sport climbing coaching in Cuenca, Spain, built around a simple idea: women climb best when the coaching focuses on how they actually move — precise footwork, flexibility, and mental control — rather than defaulting to raw power. The coach is a woman, the crew is women only, and the only ego to manage is your own.

A typical mixed-group course runs general technique with any-gender coaching. Beta Babes replaces that with a female coach and a coaching focus built specifically around footwork, flexibility, and mental control over power — plus a genuinely judgment-free space to try moves you'd normally hold back on in a mixed group. The venue backs this up: Cuenca is one of Europe's great under-the-radar sport climbing destinations, with over 1,000 routes of limestone across dramatic gorges and terrain that rewards technical precision over brute strength — exactly the skill set this course is built around.
A minimum lead grade of f5c–f6a (5.9–5.10) is expected, with previous indoor or outdoor climbing experience — this is built for climbers looking to genuinely progress, not complete beginners. It suits gym climbers ready to close the gap to real outdoor leading, climbers who've plateaued and need someone to actually watch their footwork, and solo travelers who want to fly in alone and fly out with a climbing crew that outlasts the trip. Open to women and girls aged 15 and up.

Mornings open with a briefing over coffee — crag plan and conditions check — before a guided climbing block from 9:30 focused on movement and technique on selected lines. After crag lunch and a tactics chat with your coach, the afternoon session is your call: project burns or straight mileage. Coaching runs across three threads: technique (gear care, movement and footwork, overhang tricks like side-stepping and heel-hooking, cleaning anchors), mental game (understanding outdoor risk, clear climbing calls, personalized coaching through mental barriers), and tactics (lead belaying and dynamic catches, top-rope setup, clipstick timing). Groups run up to 12, with personal coaching maintained within the group and a minimum of 3 to run the course. Accommodation is basic and shared, in local climbing hostels, cottages, or places run by the climbing community, with a private tent or campervan pitch available on request. Fly in and out of Madrid Barajas.

A minimum lead grade of f5c–f6a (5.9–5.10) with some previous indoor or outdoor climbing experience — it's aimed at climbers ready to genuinely progress, not absolute beginners.
Beyond the female coach and women-only group, the coaching focus shifts to footwork, flexibility, and mental control rather than general technique, with the same individualized coaching and video analysis as a mixed course, plus a judgment-free space to try new moves.

Sport Climbing Basics is a one-week course in Sella, Spain, built to do one thing well: take a gym climber from indoor walls to confidently leading real outdoor routes on their own. No prior outdoor experience is assumed — just the basics, built properly, on the rock where lead climbing actually happens.

A Rockbusters sport climbing course takes you from wherever you actually are — first time outdoors, stuck at a plateau, or six days from a lifetime send — and builds the week entirely around that. We run three distinct courses, each solving a different stage of the gym-to-rock journey: Sport Climbing Basics, Beta Babes, and PROJECT X.

A standard week-long climbing trip is enough to try a project. It is not enough to own one. PROJECT X is a two-week camp in Rodellar, Spain, built around exactly one outcome: clipping the chains on the hardest route of your life — with mornings reserved for your laptop and fast WiFi, so a career doesn't have to be sacrificed for the send.
