Your body is
your most valuable climbing gear

Pablo qualified as a physiotherapist in Brazil in 2000 and started out in a climbing gym in São Paulo. In 2007 Dani Andrada invited him to Spain as his personal physio, and a year later Pablo moved to Europe for good. He now lives in Cornudella de Montsant, under the cliffs of Siurana and Montsant, and works only with climbers.

His client list reads like a guidebook index: Dani Andrada, Yuji Hirayama, Sasha DiGiulian, James Pearson, plus Rockbusters colleagues Patxi Usobiaga, Hazel Findlay, Edu Marin and Dave Graham. His method combines functional biomechanics, manual therapy and prevention: flexibility, mobility, stability and coordination built up patiently over time rather than at your limit. A climber himself, he calls the work his way of giving something back.
