Fifteen years on the French team, then a long love affair with Siurana and a habit of climbing routes no woman had climbed before.

Routes and boulders
no woman has done before

Alizée followed her father onto the rock as a child, climbed her first 8a in 2003 and spent fifteen years on the French climbing team. French Champion in 2008, winner of the Rock Master boulder contest in Arco in 2009, European bronze medallist in lead in 2010. She also has a soft spot for pole vault, which tells you how she feels about gravity.

Her real signature is on Spanish limestone. In January 2012 she redpointed La Reina Mora (8c+/9a) in Siurana, at the time only the fourth female ascent at that level. In April 2017 she came back for Estado Critico (9a). Add boulders up to 8B+, from Val Bavona to Rocklands, and a research project in sociology on how climbing is changing and how more women can see what is possible in it.
