A standard week-long climbing trip is enough to try a project. It is not enough to own one. PROJECT X is a two-week camp in Rodellar, Spain, built around exactly one outcome: clipping the chains on the hardest route of your life — with mornings reserved for your laptop and fast WiFi, so a career doesn't have to be sacrificed for the send.
A single week gives you roughly six climbing days — enough for mileage, not enough to actually dial in a redpoint. PROJECT X runs 10 to 12 climbing days across two weeks, which is the difference between trying a project and working it properly: time to blow a burn, refine the micro-beta, rest your skin, review the video, and come back fresh for the send go. The format also bakes in video analysis and dedicated redpoint coaching that a standard one-week trip simply doesn't have room for.
Rodellar itself is the steep, overhanging capital of Spanish sport climbing — massive limestone arches, tufas, and stalactites carved by the Río Mascún, rewarding good tactics and a solid head-game over raw strength. It's exactly the terrain for unlocking a first 7a, 7b, or 8a.
A minimum redpoint grade of 6c is required. It's built for established sport climbers who are gate-kept right at the threshold of the 7s, or staring down their first 8a — climbers who've plateaued not from lack of fitness, but from lack of sustained, pressure-managed time on a real project. It's also built specifically for remote workers who refuse to choose between career momentum and a genuine send, with fast WiFi provided so mornings go to work and the rest of the day goes to the rock.

Mornings start with a work block from 7:30, laptop time before the heat sets in. Guided climbing runs from 9:30, with project burns, beta work, and live coaching. Afternoons bring crag lunch and video review, breaking down the day's footage, before a second session or scheduled recovery. Evenings close with dinner and a tactics debrief before the next day's burn. Coaching covers three threads: technique (advanced 3D movement, kneebar tactics, trusting microscopic footholds on overhanging rock), mental game (project selection, managing frustration, handling the pressure of the send go), and tactics (beta breakdown, sectioning hard routes, dynamic belaying and the soft catch). Groups run a maximum of 8, with a minimum of 3 to run the camp. Accommodation is shared, in local climbing hostels, cottages, or places run by the climbing community. Fly in and out of Barcelona.
Quick answers
A baseline redpoint grade of at least 6c, built for established sport climbers targeting their first 7a, 7b, or 8a.
Expect 10 to 12 climbing days across the two weeks, with the rest built in as recovery and remote-work time. Fast WiFi is provided and the schedule is structured so both your career and your project get real attention.
A one-week trip gives roughly 6 climbing days with partial redpoint coaching and no video analysis — enough for mileage. PROJECT X's two weeks give 10–12 climbing days, full redpoint coaching, and video analysis, which is the difference between trying a route and actually sending it.

Sport Climbing Basics is a one-week course in Sella, Spain, built to do one thing well: take a gym climber from indoor walls to confidently leading real outdoor routes on their own. No prior outdoor experience is assumed — just the basics, built properly, on the rock where lead climbing actually happens.

A Rockbusters sport climbing course takes you from wherever you actually are — first time outdoors, stuck at a plateau, or six days from a lifetime send — and builds the week entirely around that. We run three distinct courses, each solving a different stage of the gym-to-rock journey: Sport Climbing Basics, Beta Babes, and PROJECT X.

Beta Babes is a week of sport climbing coaching in Cuenca, Spain, built around a simple idea: women climb best when the coaching focuses on how they actually move — precise footwork, flexibility, and mental control — rather than defaulting to raw power. The coach is a woman, the crew is women only, and the only ego to manage is your own.
