Is fear of falling or leading ruining your climbing experience? Is it holding back your performance? Do you want to take the challenge? Challenge your fear in this course! Transform your climbing by training the mental muscle. This specialised rock climbing course goes beyond physical techniques to address the psychological barriers that often limit climbers of all levels.
In this course, we’ll teach you to recognise, understand, and channel it into focused performance. We will use evidence-based techniques drawn from (sports) psychology. The coaching will be conducted by a coach with in-depth personal experience in overcoming debilitating fear and how to work with it. You'll develop mental resilience that translates both on and off the wall.
Whether you're a beginner struggling with height anxiety or an advanced climber hitting performance plateaus, this course provides personalized strategies to break through mental barriers. Our experienced coaches combine practical climbing scenarios with targeted mental exercises to create lasting change in your climbing psychology.
reasonably tight climbing shoes / harness / helmet / belay device / 2 screw gate carabiners / 60cm sling
We provide most of the gear, but you will need to bring your own climbing shoes and harness. We have belay devices, slings, and helmets, but you might prefer to bring your own you use to. We strongly suggest bringing a down jacket, a hat, a rain jacket, a pair of comfortable approach shoes, a headlamp, a sleeping bag, and a backpack big enough for carrying lunch and gear to the crag.
Upon arrival, we will take you to the store to shop for breakfast and lunch food for the week. Refrigerators are provided by the campsite, and we will return to the store once more during the week to replenish supplies.
There are options to cook individually, in groups or eat outside.
There is a basic shared accommodation organized by Rockbusters. Our main goal is to integrate you into the local climbing communities, and for these purposes, we use local climbing hostels, cottages, campsites, or places run by local climbers. Feel free to reach out to adjust these settings to your personal satisfaction.
For accommodation of higher standards, please make a personal inquiry through email/WhatsApp
