Pol Palau Serrano was born in Barcelona in 1993 and is now based in the heart of the Pyrenees in Durro (Vall de Boí), Pol is a high-performance climbing guide and a National Route Setter specializing in Paraclimbing.
With a competitive pedigree that includes three Spanish Youth Championship titles and appearances on the World Cup circuit, Pol brings elite-level technical knowledge to his coaching. His personal resume speaks for itself: sport climbing up to 8b+ (8a on-sight), 8a boulders, and 7c flash. A truly versatile climber, he has also established 8a multi-pitch routes.
Currently, Pol focuses his energy on the mountains of Alta Ribagorça, opening long multi-pitch lines and developing new sectors. As a coach, his mission is to share his passion for the sport while helping climbers improve their performance and respect the ethics and environment of the crags they love.
