PATXI USOBIAGA CLIMBING EXPERIENCE

Stop plateauing and start training with a legend. A MUERTE: The PUC Performance Camp is your rare chance to download the DNA of World Champion Patxi Usobiaga, the mastermind behind the training of icons like Adam Ondra and Chris Sharma.

Stop plateauing. Start training like a champion.

What happens when you combine the most iconic limestone in Spain with the man who redefined the limits of human endurance? You get A MUERTE: The PUC Performance Camp. This isn't just a climbing course; it’s a systematic dismantling of your weaknesses led by the first person to ever onsight 8c+ and the mastermind behind Adam Ondra’s and Chris Sharma’s training.

Patxi Usobiaga doesn't believe in "trying." He believes in a methodical, relentless pursuit of the send. Throughout this intensive week, you will dive deep into the PUC Series method, mastering the cycles of Accumulation, Transformation, and Realization. From frame-by-frame video analysis of your movement to the psychological tactics of a World Champion, Patxi will rebuild your approach to the rock.

If you are ready to trade your excuses for a "Beast Mode" mindset and break through the 7a/8a barrier, your mission starts here.

Mission Highlights:

  • World Champion Coaching: 6 days of intensive 1-on-1 instruction from the first man to onsight 8c+.
  • The PUC Method: Exclusive access to Patxi’s systematic training cycles (Accumulation, Transformation, Realization).
  • Video Analysis Lab: Frame-by-frame breakdown of your movement, balance, and center of gravity.
  • Elite 7:1 Ratio: Small group settings ensuring personalized route selection for your specific weaknesses.
  • The Projecting Strategy: Learn how to "work" a route, find hidden beta, and manage the mental pressure of the send.

Detailed Technical Pillars:

  • PUC Movement Mechanics: Mastering advanced flags, drop-knees, and heel-hooks at your limit.
  • Mental Fortitude: Specific seminars on managing fear, frustration, and switching into "Beast Mode."
  • Projecting Logic: The tactical side of redpointing—clipping strategies, resting positions, and sequence linking.
  • Conditioning & Power: Training drills for explosiveness, resistance, and finger strength based on Patxi’s personal regimen.

Who This Mission Is For?

This is a high-intensity camp for those already established in the sport:

  • The Requirement: Minimum lead grade of 6c/7a.
  • The Mindset: You are stuck at a grade plateau and need a professional "diagnostic" of your climbing.
  • The Commitment: You are ready for high-volume, high-intensity days on the world-class limestone of Margalef or Oliana.

Minimum of 3 participants. In other cases, we will offer different trips/courses of the same or higher value or issue a full refund.

Elevate Your Climbing: The Transformative Benefits of Rockbusters' Advanced Sport Climbing Experience

Are you stuck at a plateau in your climbing journey? Rockbusters' Advanced Sport Climbing Experience with Patxi Usobiaga might be exactly what you need to break through to the next level.

Training with Patxi Usobiaga — a World Champion and the first climber to onsight 8c+ — offers an unparalleled opportunity to learn from one of the sport's greatest talents. What makes this experience exceptional isn't just Patxi's impressive resume, but his methodical approach to climbing improvement.

The program begins with a comprehensive assessment at Patxi's climbing gym in Coll de Nargo, where he analyzes your strengths and weaknesses. This personalized approach ensures that every participant receives tailored guidance, whether you need to improve power, endurance, technique, or mental focus.

Unlike basic climbing courses, this advanced experience is designed for climbers comfortable with at least 6c routes who are looking to push beyond their current limits. Participants receive individualized attention as Patxi carefully selects routes that challenge your specific weaknesses while building on their strengths.

Perhaps most valuable is the mental training aspect. As one participant noted, "Improving your mental game is low-hanging fruit" when physical gains become harder to achieve. This course helps you realize "that the impossible is possible, but only if you push yourself to your limits, and beyond."

The benefits extend beyond the week-long experience itself. Participants receive a free one-month training plan designed by Patxi, with options for long-term follow-up coaching. This continued support helps ensure that the progress made during the course translates into lasting improvement.

Beyond the technical benefits, participants consistently highlight the community aspect—spending a week climbing world-class routes with fellow enthusiasts from around the globe creates lasting connections and a supportive network of climbers with similar goals.

Patxi sport climbing & bouldering performance analysis

Climbing performance is defined by the combination of these three components: mental power, physical power, and technical skills. We will be discussing how big a part each component has in your climbing performance. For a performance climber, the goal is to approach mastery in all these areas to reach their potential. And it doesn’t matter if you are a sport climber, boulderer, or you aim for hard big wall climbs.

There is no one better qualified than Patxi Usobiaga to lead this course. Patxi, an ex-world champ and a “training monster”, says that his “talent is to be able to suffer”. He is one of the world’s best climbers and has coached pros like Chris Sharma, Adam Ondra, and Daniel Woods, to name just a few.

Pair up with Patxi for a week of climbing and training sessions, send some cool on-sights, flashes, or red points in his home destination of Oliana, and find out where your main limitation is and how to improve your overall climbing performance. Simply climb BETTER, HARDER, and MORE!

Mental power (fear, concentration, motivation, frustration, …)

Physical power (maximum power, resistance power, stamina, explosiveness, weaknesses vs strengths, …)

Technical skills (footwork, balance, proper use of techniques as sidestep, drop knee, flagging, resting, breathing, how to grip properly - crimp, open hand, pinch, …)
