Every year we’re driving across the continent, stopping at  the most iconic sport climbing crags. You can focus on climbing as much as possible, while experiencing the freedom of the ultimate climbing road trip.

Frankenjura is the perfect sport climbing destination for your summer holidays. There are more than 8000 bolted climbs spread across a thousand small crags in and around the area. The walls are hidden in picturesque and peaceful forests which provide respite from the summer sun. Frankenjura offers climbs of all grades, from the very easiest to the very hardest. The typical Frankenjura climb is full of one or two-finger pockets, combined with small huecos and crimps. It takes a lot of finger strength and good power endurance. If you prefer crimps and ledges, sectors such as Student will cater to your tastes.

Whether you are rather new to the world of rock climbing, or you want to tighten your grip on this amazing activity, our sport climbing courses / camps are the place for you to be. What is sport climbing, actually, you may wonder. Well, it’s a form of rock climbing in which the climber’s main goal is to climb a route at the top of their physical, technical, and psychological abilities. Yes, it is as complex as that. In order to be able to focus on the maximum performance, the climber ascends a route that is protected with permanently fixed bolts and anchors - no gear placement (that is trad climbing), just clipping quickdraws.

For us, the people at Rockbusters, sport climbing means much more than that. When on a climbing trip, we want to eat, sleep and breathe climbing. Join us for a week or two at one of Europe’s best climbing destinations to see how easy it is to become a climbing junkie. Immerse yourself in crimps, sidepulls, undercuts, tufas, gastons, cracks and dihedrals with us… These are not bad words. With our top coaching and crags selection you’ll find out pretty soon what are these and how to use them. Our approach is guaranteed to boost your technique, mental skills, improve your strengths and fight your weaknesses.

We’ll teach you all you need to know about the equipment. How to choose the best set and correct number of quickdraws for a particular route, what is the best belay device for you, what types of shoes and what sizes go best for different types of climbs, what is the best harness for sport climbing, how long a rope should you get and what diameter, what is a sling for, how to make your personal anchor, what type of carabiners do you really need for sport climbs? All these and more questions will be answered for you naturally in the course of this breakthrough trip.

We will go through all safety and technical details so everyone is able to do as much climbing as possible and enjoy climbing with each other. We will push you to achieve more during your stay, arming you with all the necessary techniques and safety measures before you try anything new.

We will pay big attention to, and refresh all safety procedures and skills one necessarily needs to handle 100% to stay reasonably safe and enjoy pushing the physical and mental limits when sport climbing.

We need just a week’s time to turn you into a confident leader of any sport climbing routes and make you a better climber overall, no matter your current grade or level. We will show you all the sport climbing tricks you may use to stay safe and to be happily trying routes beyond your comfort zone.

This course is a great way into climbing culture. It’s intense for sure, but this means you’ll develop your skills quickly and progress way faster than you thought possible. Join the Rockbusters beginner climbing courseNovice and you’ll quickly reach new heights and be ready to take on epic routes you could only dream of.

Minimum of 3 participants. In other cases we will offer different trips/courses in the same or higher value or issue full refund.
