For the Rockbusters team climbing is not just a sport, it’s what we eat, drink, breathe and sleep - it’s what we live for. Our Sport Climbing Camp gives you the opportunity to get a taste of what we mean and become part of our climbing crew.
The main focus of our Sport Climbing Camp is on quality and quantity of climbing, so it’s aimed at climbers with some experience but we are not pushing fit and motivated beginners away. We will provide all necessary coaching and go through all safaty and technical details so everyone is able to do as much climbing as possible and enjoy climbing with each other. We will push you to achieve more during your stay,arming you with all the necessary techniques and safety measures before you try anything new.
Sella, the location of the Rockbusters Christmas Climbing Holiday is a special place for rock climbers. It is a unique climbing area in the Costa Blanca region with hundreds of sport routes and slabs to explore. In the summer the climbing can be slightly crowded. However, during December and the Christmas period the crags are empty and peaceful. You will be spoilt for choice when it comes to choosing the route to climb.
The refuge/mountain cottage we stay in is located in quite a remote place about 4 km walk away from the small village of Sella. It is surrounded by the rock, which means you can park your car, forget about it and focus just on climbing and the pretty scenery. Rockbusters will also make sure you will get to know the best places in the village to eat and have a drink as in way, it forms a part of a good climbing day. Believe it or not but the little village of Sella has a lot to offer even when you have finished your climbing.

We provide all the gear, but you will need to bring your own reasonably tight climbing shoes and harness. We have belay devices, slings, and helmets, but you might prefer to bring your own. We strongly suggest bringing a down jacket, a hat, a rain jacket, a pair of comfortable approach shoes, head lamp, sleeping bag, and a backpack big enough for carrying lunch and gear to the crag.
Upon arrival we will take you to the store to shop for breakfast and lunch food for the week. There is refrigerator in the hostel, and there are shops in Cornudella de Montsant to replenish supplies.
There are plenty restaurants and bars in Cornudella de Montsant to have dinner. Communal dinners can be organized if required.
We gonna be accommodated in mountain cottage, basic, sleeping on the mattresses or foam pads under the roof but no tens are needed. There is stove to use for cooking, fire place to heat up, hot shower, ... and it is 50m from closest crag.
