This FEMALE CLIMBING CAMP with Daila Ojeda is designed to give you the opportunity to learn the necessary safety skills, improve your technique and push your sport climbing limits in a supportive environment, coached by one of the worlds´ best female climber. Experience the amazing atmosphere of climbing only with women learning from each other!

This trip is designed to provide a comfortable, safe, and supportive environment where female climbers can learn from one of the world’s best climbers, Daila Ojeda, in one of Europe’s top sport climbing destinations. It’s not about the grades, women can and do climb as hard as men -- but with different body types and strengths, female climbers can require different instruction and beta. These specialized camps aim to prove that raw power isn’t everything, and concentrate on women further discovering what their bodies are capable of and how far they can push them while emphasizing the importance of precise footwork, increased flexibility, and good mind control for developing into a stronger climber.

All of this takes place in the climbing mecca of Rodellar, a quaint medieval village surrounded by a seemingly unending amount of tall, orange limestone cliffs begging to be climbed. The views are breathtaking and the climbing community unmatched.  Women of all ages and abilities are welcome and our dedicated coaches Daila and Maja are here to challenge you while ensuring you enjoy every step of the journey. This unique experience provides the opportunity to build relationships, connect, and climb with other awesome women rockstars that love every minute they spend on the rock.


On our “Girls on Rock” trip you will learn:

  • how to belay safely, set up a top-rope, and lead climb. We’ll also cover other technical aspects to build up your knowledge

  • how to use a guide book and local knowledge to get to know a climbing area in order to choose routes that best suit your style

  • how to use climbing calls and communicate efficiently so you won’t sound like a rookie

  • basic and advanced movement skills for improved efficiency and better climbing

  • How to cleaning anchors and a gain basic understanding of outdoor risks so everyone gets home safe

  • different techniques for slabs and verts

  • efficient movement, saving energy and resting


There is gonna be personalized coaching on-going depending your experience and grade: 

Slab/vertical ground

Focusing on footwork, you will learn to find balance and use the most efficient and effective ways to propel your body up the rock without wasting energy. You will learn how to work with friction, make delicate steps and calculated, technical moves.


You’ll develop and practise skills to help you handle climbing steeper rock faces. We will cover footwork and techniques such as drop knees, heel and toe hooks. A lot of time will be dedicated to the fine art of resting while climbing, as well as fighting “the pump”, both mentally and physically.

Onsight vs redpoint techniques

Climbing onsight and projecting more difficult lines differs both physically and mentally. Daila Ojeda will cover the most effective strategies for success while onsighting or working a route over many days. You will have plenty of time to practice these and internalise the new skills.

As much coaching and guiding as you want and need, from our all female team.
All safety equipment including quick draws, ropes, harness , helmet - but feel free to bring your own.
Shared accommodation in climbing hostals, camps (FREE CHARGE).
Airport transport and transport between crags will be organized with rental cars (FREE CHARGE).  


Flights, travel, climbing insurance and food are not included. You will also need to BRING YOUR OWN CLIMBING SHOES


Evening group meals are organized in local restaurants/bars on request at a cost more or less 15€ each. 


Climbing shoes, harness, helmet, belay device, 60cm sling with screw gate carabiner, sleeping bag, foam pad, good approach shoes, back pack, warm light jacket, headlamp.


Suitable for people with some CLIMBING EXPERIENCE (belay, lead belay, top rope, lead, ...). From sporty beginners through to experts leading at F8, our experienced team will plan the days so that everyone climbs as much they can and gets all the coaching they need.


Day 1 - Pick up from closest airport at a time suitable to the group as a whole. Welcome dinner and a relaxed discussion about the week ahead, people's abilities and ambitions.

Day 2 - Introduction to climbing on the amazing limestone tufas of Rodellar. Getting a taste for the rock on some warm-up routes. Reviewing safe belaying, top-roping and a refresher on leading for those with ambitious goals.

Day 3 - More climbing and top-roping on some trickier routes for the beginners. Gaining confidence and improving lead climbing technique for intermediates and advanced.

Day 4 - First lead climbs for the beginner group on easy terrain. Advanced climbers learn good lead belaying and dynamic falls control.

Day 5 - Time to throw some technical coaching into the mix. Finding and working a red-point project for the advanced.

Day 6 - Discussion and practice of red-pointing, flash, and onsite methods. Making sure everyone is having fun and progressing their technique on the rock.

Day 7 - Consolidating our weeks work. Finish those projects we started and lock in the skills we learned. It's time for the farewell dinner and party for those with some energy. Maybe meet the boys?

Day 8 - Everyone gets back to the bus station or airport safe and sound, and we say goodbye - until next time.

Note: Everyone needs a rest day but we don't fix these into the itinerary. Listen to your body and take break when you need it.
