Elevate your climbing in Chulilla's breathtaking limestone canyon, where towering 40-meter routes rise dramatically above the turquoise Turia River. Week 2 builds crucial endurance and technique as you tackle Spain's most picturesque vertical walls by day and unwind in a medieval village by night—the perfect progression in your Rockbusters journey that will transform both your climbing stamina and your appreciation for authentic Spanish climbing culture.
Welcome to Week 2 of your Rockbusters expedition, where your climbing journey advances to the spectacular limestone canyon of Chulilla. After building your foundation in Sella, you'll now immerse yourself in this dramatic river gorge north of Valencia, home to some of Spain's most picturesque and distinctive climbing. Chulilla's towering walls rise majestically above the crystalline waters of the Turia River, offering over 900 routes characterized by their impressive length, technical vertical faces, and subtle tufa formations. The climbing here represents a perfect progression from Week 1, while Sella introduced you to Spanish limestone, Chulilla challenges you with longer endurance routes on slightly overhanging walls that demand refined technique, strategic resting, and mental stamina as you climb up to 40 meters on a single pitch.
As you settle into the charming medieval village of Chulilla, with its narrow cobblestone streets winding beneath a 13th-century castle, you'll experience the authentic rhythm of rural Spanish life while pushing your climbing to new heights. Your Rockbusters coaches will guide you through iconic sectors like El Balcón, La Muela, and El Oasis, helping you apply the technical skills from Week 1 to these more sustained challenges. The increased route length at Chulilla naturally builds your endurance and forces efficient movement, crucial skills for the weeks ahead. Evening analysis sessions in local cafés will deepen your understanding of movement efficiency and energy conservation, while rest days offer opportunities to explore thermal springs, hiking trails through the gorge, or simply soak in the tranquil atmosphere of this climbing paradise that perfectly balances challenge with inspiration.

The personalized coaching is perhaps the most valuable aspect of the trip, with expert guides helping you climb "BETTER, HARDER & MORE" through individualized instruction tailored to your specific needs. Many participants report dramatic improvements, with some advancing from feeling intimidated on 6a routes to confidently tackling 7a climbs within just weeks.
The trip's flexible format allows you to join for a single week or the entire month-long adventure, making it accessible regardless of your schedule constraints.
