Christmas is that festive time of year; unwanted presents, annoying family members, board games and over-indulgence. Fortunately at Rockbusters we can't offer you anything like that. Instead, We can offer intensive climbing in Europe's best crags.
Sella, the location of the Rockbusters Christmas Climbing Holiday is a special place for rock climbers. It is a unique climbing area in the Costa Blanca region with hundreds of sport routes and slabs to explore. In the summer the climbing can be slightly crowded. However, during December and the Christmas period the crags are empty and peaceful. You will be spoilt for choice when it comes to choosing the route to climb.
Climb as much as you want and we’ll provide you with our expert one-on-one coaching, video and photo analysis. The focus is on developing and improving technique and will provide a great opportunity to give you a good headstart for the new climbing year.
If you already have some climbing experience (or none at all but are bursting with enthusiasm!) and are looking to take it to the next level then this is the perfect time to do it.
Our Christmas camp focuses on:
Coaching with slab/vertical ground to improve footwork and climbing efficiency
Balance and foot placement to develop better technique for more confident climbing (leading comfortably F5 or more)
Intensive coaching on overhangs and steep sections to develop strength and confidence (leading comfortably F6c or more)
On-sight/red point aimed at climbers who are confident enough with their balance, footwork and have already acquired the basics of climbing technique
Beginners will be taught the basics and fast tracked by our coaches.

On the Christmas Climbing Camp we focus on having fun and racking up as much face time at Sella's climbing crags. Whatever your level we will set challenging routes to improve and develop skills for climbing.
This is a Rockbusters course so you it’s all about the climbing. We live and breathe the sport but we also know how to have a good time. However as this is Christmas it’s an extra special reason to party. Rockbusters is more like a family than a tour company so you’ll feel right at home at this special time of year.

We provide all the gear, but you will need to bring your own reasonably tight climbing shoes and harness. We have belay devices, slings, and helmets, but you might prefer to bring your own. We strongly suggest bringing a down jacket, a hat, a rain jacket, a pair of comfortable approach shoes, head lamp, sleeping bag, and a backpack big enough for carrying lunch and gear to the crag.
Upon arrival we will take you to the store to shop for breakfast and lunch food for the week. There is refrigerator in the hostel, and there are shops in Cornudella de Montsant to replenish supplies.
There are plenty restaurants and bars in Cornudella de Montsant to have dinner. Communal dinners can be organized if required.
We gonna be accommodated in mountain cottage, basic, sleeping on the mattresses or foam pads under the roof but no tens are needed. There is stove to use for cooking, fire place to heat up, hot shower, ... and it is 50m from closest crag.
